Hello and thanks for stopping by!!
My name is Mary Lou and I live in Boston, Massachusetts with my 2 daughters, husband of 25 years and our yorkie, Chaz.
I am a self taught artist who dabbles in all types of mediums. My mind wanders to all realms of the spectrum to stick with one thing.
It took me years to refer to myself as an “artist” instead of a “crafter”.
Now, there is nothing wrong with being a crafter….but I always aspired to be an artist and believe I have achieved my goal. I’m finally comfortable with the title and believe I have earned it.
This year it is my goal to focus on selling what I create instead of hiding it in my very tiny studio. The intentions I have for this blog is to share with you some of my pieces and offer them for sale.
Stop by often as I’ll be uploading more and more images often.
Beautiful art! You ARE an artist!
Mary Lou… I, too, live in Massachusetts, have two daughters, husband of 23 years and a Bishon doggie. You truly are an artist. Just reading about you reminds me of me a bit… I make and make art, either as gifts (no commission) or for me or swaps… It’s time to get out there and try to share out art with ones that will want to purchase our creations. Anyway, be proud.. you are an amazing artist…

Wikipedia:
Art refers to a diverse range of human activities and artifacts, and may be used to cover all or any of the arts, including music, literature and other forms. It is most often used to refer specifically to the visual arts, including media such as painting, sculpture, and printmaking. However it can also be applied to forms of art that stimulate the other senses, such as music, an auditory art. Aesthetics is the branch of philosophy which considers art.
