OK Now remember, this room is only 7′ x 7′. It has one door and one window. I had to be sure that I could make the most of EVERY square inch of it…. so I did!!!
I’m thrilled with the way it came out for what I had to work with. This was a project to “GET DONE QUICK” instead of ripping out walls, building furniture, etc. OK, ’nuff said…. here is my slice of heaven!
OK so it’s NEVER kept that clean…. it looks like this usually!
The right of me:
So you see…. my work desk goes from wall to wall….. that would make it 7′ long!
No space has been wasted…. behind me (All I have to do is twirl my chair 180 degrees and I’m there) I have another work surface that is approx. 4 1/2′ long. This surface holds one of my sewing machines, sizzix, Bind-It All….. Hmm… what else….. Oh…. my clock/cd player some do-dad drawers and whatever else I don’t feel like putting away. I’m going to have to make room for my new Cricut machine….. I was fortunate enough to get the winning bid on ebay!! YAY FOR ME!!!!

Just this afternoon, I was all about the cleaning/organizing–thank you for the inspiration! The pegboard is GENIUS. I didn’t think of it, because I’m not a genius, but I’m SO going to copy you . . .

Now if could only fit in my 30 drawer units of paper and stamps. Not to mention my desk in my computer room that is dedicated to nothing but polymer clay… which also has 4 other drawer units filled with clay and tools.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh how I long for a HUGE studio!! LOL
You did a great job. My area to work in is small as well, so I know what a challenge it was for you to do all you did. I’m impressed. Where’s the best place/price to pick up some of that pegboard? Can it be cut to the size I want/need? After looking at how much you got on that board, I need some!
